My coaching approach is authentic, professional, and insightful, aiming to collaborate with clients to create self-awareness and clarity regarding their life and career goals. Clients often experience increased confidence, clarity, and motivation to achieve their objectives. Alongside my external coaching business, I have extensive experience as an internal coach in a Higher Education Institution.
An excellent coaching approach is a partnership that focuses on unlocking the client’s potential and guiding them towards their personal and professional goals. My coaching approach involves several key elements that foster growth, development, and empowerment, as follows:
Active Listening: Truly understanding the coachee's needs, goals, and concerns by listening attentively and empathetically.
Goal Setting: Helping the coachee set clear, achievable, and meaningful goals that align with their values and aspirations.
Empowerment: Encouraging the coachee to take ownership of their development and decisions, fostering a sense of autonomy and confidence.
Feedback: Providing constructive, timely, and specific feedback that helps the client recognise their strengths and areas for improvement.
Support and Challenge: Balancing support with appropriate challenges to push the client out of their comfort zone and promote growth.
Adaptability: Tailoring the coaching approach to the individual needs and learning styles of the client.
Accountability: Holding the client accountable for their actions and progress, while also being accountable as a coach.
Continuous Learning: Encouraging a mindset of lifelong learning and curiosity, both for the coach and the client.

My coaching philosophy emphasises the importance of a professional, competent, and connected coaching relationship. I strive to create a sincere, genuine, confidential, and safe partnership with my clients. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives and work, and they are inherently creative, resourceful, and whole.
I believe that clients are the masters of their own lives and possess the creativity and resources needed to achieve their goals. My role is to facilitate, reflect, and guide clients through their choices. My top three values as a coach are connection, presence, and curiosity. I am constantly curious and positive in guiding each client's journey, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space built on trust, acceptance, and mutual respect. I maintain professionalism, competence, self-management, and supervision in my practice.
